Introduction to Attachment Theory £50

This workshop introduces delegates to key concepts in Psychodynamic theory. 

The main tenets of psychodynamic theories lie in the concept of unconscious processes and the transferential relationship existing between the counsellor and their client. Delegates will gain an understanding of attachment theory, and the nature of the therapeutic relationship and the therapeutic process whilst exploring their own attachment styles and how these manifest in the client / therapist dyad. This work shop is the second in a series of three available workshops which explore psychodynamic theory and practice.
